AI-Assisted Intake Workflow for Law Firms
A working demo built for law firms, using securities class-action intake as the example case type. It shows the three systems that turn a manual intake desk into an automated engine: AI screening at first contact, automated status updates through the pipeline, and self-serve document collection. The same three-step workflow applies to any legal practice area, with only the questions, dropdown options, and document requests changing to match. Click through each step below.
AI Intake Screening
Fill in a sample lead's basics and run the screening engine. It checks the answers against configurable case criteria — case type, jurisdiction, timing, and conflicts — the same checks a paralegal would run manually, but instantly and around the clock.
Automated Status Updates
The updates a client receives are not a fixed script — they branch off exactly what happened in Step 1. A qualified lead gets moved toward signature, a flagged lead gets a more human review sequence, and a lead that doesn't meet criteria gets a fast, respectful close — no false hope, no attorney time spent. Case type and company name carry through into the messages themselves.
Document Collection
The document ask scales to the screening outcome: a qualified lead gets the full, case-specific checklist; a flagged lead gets a short, minimal ask while under review; a lead that doesn't meet criteria isn't asked for anything at all.
